Day 1
Masjid Nabawi & Surrounding Area
Dedicate this day to the Haram area and its immediate surroundings. Start with Fajr at Masjid Nabawi and visit the Rawdah. After Fajr, walk to Jannat al-Baqi. Return for breakfast, then explore the nearby historic mosques on foot: Masjid al-Ghamama, Masjid Abu Bakr, and Masjid Bilal are all within 500 meters of the Haram. In the afternoon, walk north to Masjid al-Ijabah near Baqi. All sites today are walkable, so no taxi is needed.
Head south to the Quba area after Fajr at Masjid Nabawi. Walk the beautiful Quba Walkway or take a taxi to Masjid Quba. From there, visit the nearby wells: Bir Ghars, Bir Aris, and the Salman Farsi Dates Farm are all in the Quba vicinity. On the way back toward the Haram, stop at Masjid al-Jumu'ah. If time permits, visit Masjid al-Fadikh nearby. This is a Saturday-ideal day, following the Prophet's Sunnah of visiting Quba on Saturdays.
Start early and take a taxi north to Mount Uhud. Visit the Martyrs Cemetery and Jabal Rumah together, spending at least an hour at the battlefield area. After Dhuhr, head to Masjid al-Qiblatain on the way back. Then visit the Seven Mosques complex (Masjid al-Fath, Salman, Ali, Umar, and Fatimah are all clustered together). End the day at the Hejaz Railway Museum near the Anbariyah area before returning to the Haram for Maghrib.
The same route, laid out for paper: every stop in visiting order with its Arabic name, transliteration, category, distance from the Haram, visit duration and map reference. Everything above stays free to read on screen.
