Jannat al-Baqi'

Jannat al-Baqi' is the main cemetery of Madinah, located immediately adjacent to the southeastern wall of Masjid Nabawi. It is one of the most sacred burial grounds in Islam, containing the graves of thousands of companions, scholars, and family members of the Prophet ﷺ. The cemetery appears as a vast, open expanse of simple graves without elaborate markers, reflecting the Islamic tradition of humble burial.

Bir Ha

Bir Ha is a historic well that is uniquely located within the precincts of Masjid Nabawi itself, in the area that was once the garden of Abu Talha al-Ansari. It is one of the few wells that visitors can encounter during their regular prayers in the Haram. The well has been incorporated into the mosque structure through its many expansions.
