Masjid Quba

Masjid Quba is the very first mosque built in the history of Islam, located in the southern outskirts of Madinah in the village of Quba. The mosque has undergone a stunning modern renovation that preserved its spiritual significance while creating a magnificent contemporary structure. Its white domes and minarets stand as a symbol of the earliest days of Islam.

Masjid al-Jumu'ah, also known as Masjid al-Wadi or Masjid Atikah, sits along the route the Prophet ﷺ took from Quba to Madinah's city center. It is a modest yet historically important mosque set in a residential neighborhood between Quba and the Haram. The mosque marks a watershed moment in the communal worship practices of Islam.

Bir Aris, known as the Well of the Ring, is located in the Quba area close to Masjid Quba.
